The story
Topgallant was founded to do one thing well: buy apartment communities that already work, and run them better than the last owner did. No adjacent ventures, no funds of funds, no promises that require a market to cooperate.
The name comes from the sail set highest on a clipper's mast — reachable only after the hull, the rigging and the crew have earned it. Cardinal and gold carry the colors of USC, where our founder's first circle of investors sat in the same lecture halls.
Our first closing is weeks away. Everything after it is meant to look like it.
Leadership
Leads acquisitions, capital formation and investor relations. USC alumnus; underwrote and toured more than two hundred communities before signing the firm’s first letter of intent. Send us the full bio and we will set it here.
Reserved for the operations lead who will run leasing, maintenance and resident experience across the portfolio. Tell us who joins and this card becomes theirs.
How we behave
Occupancy, delinquency, capital spend — reported the same way in a bad quarter as a good one.
We manage our own assets, so there is no third party to blame when a work order sits.
The best protection against a hard market is the price we paid in an easy one.
